I was honoured to be asked to undertake this single cover design for Juke Jaxon. The coolest band to come out of London this year. We had a lot of fun on this project developing a concept that worked in relation to the name of their debut single, Memory Man. Swiss-modern with a twist was the real graphic style that seemed to fit their brief. With Swiss design in mind, the typographical elements are of course Arial derivatives. The bold colour palette and contemporary shapes are combined to create an 'M' laying on it's side— symbolising both the 'M' in Memory Man and a springboard into the music industry. I'm already looking forward to working with them on their next project and developing them a style that will become the overriding feeling for the music they produce.
